CITB Grants and NVQ Funding Support

If you or your employer are registered with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), you may be eligible to claim funding of up to £600 per NVQ through their grants and funding scheme. This can significantly reduce the overall cost of completing your qualification.

Important information:

• The CITB scheme is not a partnership programme – Train 4 Growth cannot claim on your behalf.
• You or your employer will need to submit your own grant claim to CITB once the qualification is completed.
• The amount you can claim depends on the NVQ level and the specific qualification.

Who Can Apply for NVQ Funding?

You may be eligible for NVQ funding if you:

• Are employed or self-employed in a relevant trade or industry
• Are over 19 years of age (some restrictions may apply)
• Are undertaking a Level 3 qualification or higher
• Are eligible for CITB grant support (if in the construction sector)

Employers can also claim funding to upskill staff as part of workforce development, subject to eligibility.
